Eat Sunflower Seeds!
Because anything associated with such a beautiful, colourful, joyful plant has got to be good, right!? All seeds are a good source of fibre (for healthy bowels), protein (to help your body repair) and “good” fat. Sunflower seeds are also an excellent source of nutrients like Vitamin E (for strong immunity and a healthy brain and heart) and Magnesium (for healthy nerves, muscles and relaxation)
- Sprinkle them on yoghurt, salad, porridge, cereal, soup, stir frys
- Add them to home-made bread, granola, granola bars, muesli
- Blitz them in a food processor to make sunflower seed butter
