Eat Kidney Beans!
Named as such because of their resemblance in shape and colour to our kidneys, kidney beans, like all beans, are a great source of fibre (for a healthy digestive system) and protein (to help your body with daily repair). They are also a very good source of folate which we need for a healthy immune system, healthy blood and normal cell development.
- Tinned kidney beans are great, just give them a good rinse
- Add them to stews, bolognese, chilli con carne, soups, salads, etc
