Eat Brazil Nuts!
Because we should be nutty for nuts in general as they contain fibre, healthy fat and lots of vitamins and minerals. In particular, one or two brazil nuts also contain our daily need of a little-known mineral called selenium, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect our body from damage.
- On their own as a snack (but they’re especially good with a square of dark chocolate!)
- Chop some up and throw them on top of yoghurt, porridge, salad
- Blend a couple into a smoothie
- Use them in home-made granola bars
