They are a great source of fibre to keep your bowels healthy (and help you feel fuller for longer!). They are also high in disease-fighting antioxidants and immune-boosting Vitamin C.
- On their own as a sweet snack – remember to keep the skin on to get all the benefits!
- Cut up into slices and eaten with some nut butter
- Cut up and added to salads
- I’ve recently started grating apple into my porridge as it’s cooking
