Welcome to Lisa Dunbar Health!

Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my website.

I first became interested in food and health in 2015 during a period of illness (read my story here). I went on to study with the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health in Bray Co. Wicklow, where I was awarded a BTEC Advanced Diploma in Nutrition and Health Coaching.

I studied nutrition to learn how to improve my own health. However, the more I learned and the more my health improved, the more I thought “This is incredible! I have to spread the word!”

As a Nutrition and Health Coach I now help people make changes to what they eat, how they eat and how they live so that they can go on to live a healthier and happier life. Click here to learn more about what I do.

Being healthy should not be complicated, and it is not about punishment or deprivation. It is simply about recognising how AMAZING our bodies are! Their sole purpose is to keep us alive and they spend every second of every day doing it! The very least we can do in return is give them the diet and lifestyle they need to thrive!

My mission is to help you get back to basics, help you understand how your body works, what it needs, what food is, what it does for us, why we are constantly being told we should eat healthily, what on earth “healthy” even means and how to achieve it, both physically and mentally.
